There is a brand new name who has been thrown into the hat of Chelsea’s long list of alleged shortlisted targets this summer.
Of course, they wont be signing them all, and it is totally normal for clubs to have big shortlists of options.

One area that Thomas Tuchel might look to add to this summer is the wide right area, with chances being fairly high of losing Cesar Azpilicueta to Barcelona, and also bearing in mind the injury issues for his wing-backs last season.
Jonathan Clauss from Lens is the latest name to be linked with that area. The 4-cap French international was first linked by a source many of us have not heard about last night.

Most didn’t think much of it, but then the report was backed up by the reliable French outlet, RMC Sport, who put their story out on it saying Chelsea are ‘very interested’ in signing Clauss.
