Chelsea goalkeeper Jamie Cumming will return on loan to MK Dons this coming season, BBC Sport are reporting.
The 22 year old moved to the Dons in January, and ended up keeping 10 clean sheets in 23 appearances in League One, really impressing at looking comfortable at that level as he helped them finish third.
This second spell gives him a really long period to hopefully rack up a lot of senior games and catapult himself to the Championship and beyond in years to come.
Cumming has yet to play a game for Chelsea, but is developing nicely on the slightly slower goalkeeper pathway for youngsters. Being a first team regular at 22 in League One is good going, and sets him up nicely for years to come.
He described himself as “very ambitious” with a desire to play “at the highest level,” but acknowledged that this was the right place for him to keep developing with regular football.
