You can tell it’s the offseason because one sliver of news – in this case Chelsea’s squad list for their US tour, has generated multiple headlines and stories across multiple outlets – not least this one.
We’re not the only ones keeping an eye on the group that Thomas Tuchel is taking to LA though – AS in Spain are claiming that the Chelsea boss has “sent a message” to Barcelona with his choices.
Their impression is that by taking Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta with him, the Chelsea boss is putting his foot down on their potential moves to Barca.
There may be some truth to that, but in reality it seems more sensible to bring them and then let them leave if they need to, rather than leaving them at home awkwardly, hoping that a transfer can be arranged.
To us this is the sensible way of doing things, and doesn’t rule out a move at all.
Chelsea need to do more by going for targets and getting them. Feed up with speculations for links incoming players. The new season is just weeks away. Not happy with current situation of things with our Club “CHELSEA”
