Thomas Tuchel has had an extensive meeting with PSG central defender Presnel Kimpembe to try and persuade him to come to Chelsea.
The center back was a key man when Tuchel was manager in Paris, and after a long career at the club it seems like this is the summer where he will move on.
Tuchel can offer him a guaranteed starting spot (assuming he continues to play a 343) and plenty of chances to win trophies. We assume the money on the table will be excellent too.

FootMercato says there was a phone call between the two with extensive detail on how the 26 year old would work in his system at Stamford Bridge.
Their piece mentions Juventus as potentially interested – presumably that’s if Matthijs de Ligt goes to Bayern Munich, as expected, but other than that we seem like by far the leading candidate for a move for the France international.
