After sealing the signings of Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly already this season, Chelsea are working on signing two more players as soon as possible, according to a report this afternoon.
The Sterling and Koulibaly signings can certainly be considered statement signings, but there will soon be more arriving to back that up.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea want to sign two more centre backs, with PSG’s Presnel Kimpembe and Sevilla’s Jules Kounde the names being touted.
Romano believes that Chelsea are trying to sign both players, and not one of the other. Obviously Kounde has been linked with Chelsea for well over a year now, but Romano says The Blues have re-activated their attempts to sign him again now.

What this means for the future of current centre back Levi Colwill remains to be known as of now, but it certainly isn’t looking great from him at the moment.
Sources: Chelsea pushing to sign BOTH Kimpembe and Kounde, and what next for Levi Colwill?

Get one or the other not both. Use common sense for a change CFC. Levi is the future; do not block his pathway as we have spent the past 20 years doing. Thiago will leave at the end of the season; who better for Levi to learn from, and Koulibaly now too. We have the best central defensive prospect in Europe if not the world, so for god’s sake, have a plan for our incredible talent, and DO NOT make the same cretinous decisions that we’ve made with Guehi, Fomori, De Bruyne, Salah; the list goes on and on and on!!!!
