Chelsea are firmly in the hunt to sign a new defender this window, even after the arrival of Kalidou Koulibaly.
In fact, it appears that head coach Thomas Tuchel even wants to add another two defenders at least to his squad this summer after losing Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger as free agents at the end of this season, and question marks also hanging over the heads of Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta.

One potential replacement for either Azpilicueta or Christensen, could be Sevilla’s Jules Kounde, a player who continues to generate strong Chelsea links with the Blues pushing once again to try and sign the French international.
According to insider Ben Jacobs, who was speaking on a Twitter spaces today, Kounde has already scouted properties in London ahead of a potential move there, and that would suggest that he is very keen on the move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
