Thomas Tuchel has been speaking about Levi Colwill and a potential future at Chelsea.
Much as he did in the case of Armando Broja, Tuchel insisted that there had been no decisions about Colwill made yet.
The Chelsea manager made sure not to get out hopes up, but he didn’t close the door on the central defender staying put. It’s clear there’s likely to be another defender or two signed this summer.
I asked Thomas Tuchel about Levi Colwill: "We don't know Levi enough. We need more impressions to give a better outlook at the situation. He had a good spell on loan and then we have to think at the end of pre-season what is best for him." #CFC

The media love to jump to conclusions one way or the other, and over the course of the last few months we’ve heard pretty much everything along the spectrum from “Levi Colwill is definitely staying at Chelsea as a squad player” to “Levi Colwill is definitely leaving Chelsea on a permanent deal.”
The reality is that Tuchel is probably telling the truth – decisions are not yet final, and no squad will be totally settled until the window is closed anyway.
