Chelsea still have Harry Kane on their radar

Chelsea are keen on signing Harry Kane according to a column in The Sun today.

The Tottenham striker made major moves a year ago with the intention of moving away form the club, and while his attempts to move to Man City were foiled, it’s assumed his desire to win trophies is strong.

Chelsea would apparently love to bring their rivals’ talisman to Stamford Bridge. Spurs would rather sell to Bayern Munich, having lost Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona in the last week. But it’s not neck and neck.

The problem is this, however. Harry Kane has still never won a trophy in his career. A year ago, Chelsea were fresh from winning the Champions League, and looked a better bet than Spurs.

Right now, after a great summer for Antonio Conte and a pretty poor one for Thomas Tuchel, is Kane really going to be willing to make the switch? It sounds unlikely.

  1. Hahaha … dream on! The idea that Levy would sell Kane to anyone right now, let alone Chelsea, is beyond delusional.

  2. Would Kane really risk the wrath of the Tottenham faithful by playing for Chelsusa
    Hmm don’t think so

  3. Yer and so are many clubs keen on Kane.
    Why would he join Chelsea??
They’re not going to be able to buy success anymore, just look at their transfer dealings this summer……it would be a step down for Kane now.
