Chelsea have a large number of players who are wanting out this summer, and a few of them are on really high wages, creating issues at this stage of the window.
It looks like Chelsea really need to sell before they can continue their summer spending, at least in all other areas than the defence. So they really need to now start moving some of these players on, to at the very least, create spaces in the squad.
Sources: Updates on SIX attackers Thomas Tuchel is looking to sign this window.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is probably one of the less important players to sell on, because there are no signs or any strong links with a replacement coming in, and a backup goalkeeper is a hugely important area of the pitch the cover for any club.
According to Italian reporter Alfredo Pedulla though, Chelsea have been in negotiations with Napoli regarding a loan move for Kepa.
However, as cited by Football Italia, the player’s salary would be a sticking point and Napoli would require a contribution from Chelsea to ensure any deal.
