As first reported exclusively by myself on my own platform, Chelsea are interested in Leicester City centre back Wesley Fofana, as also now confirmed by Sky Sports.

Obviously due to his contract situation this isn’t a deal that is expected to be an easy one to do, or a cheap one, but it’s certainly worth an approach from Chelsea because he certainly ticks all the boxes.

Of course…a quarter of a billion pounds would tempt us but even that is unlikely to bring about a transfer.
