The story of Armando Broja is becoming one of the more interesting Chelsea transfer sagas of the summer.
There have been several stages to it so far, and more than most stories we’ve gone back and forth on it pretty strongly.
After Romelu Lukaku left, with Broja coming off a strong season, it looked certain he’d finally get his chance in the senior squad.
But the way he left the group in LA and headed back to London, combined with strong rumours about interest from West Ham, made us think the opposite.

But recent whispers have made us think we were right all along – and today Fabrizio Romano has Tweeted that Thomas Tuchel is “insisting” on keeping the player.
Given we literally have no other strikers on the books and no clear chances of signing one, that should be a no brainer.
West Ham’s £30m bid has been rejected, and the path is clear for him up top.
Maybe everything is falling into place for AB?
