Chelsea have today been linked with bids for Yeremy Pino, the Villareal winger.
Pino shone as the attacking outlet of a really impressive and organised Yellow Submarine outfit in the Champions League last season, and it’s interesting there hasn’t actually been more chatter about a move away from La Liga this summer.

The rumours today have largely come from Fabrizio Romano, who is reporting that there is widespread interest in the La Liga star from a number of Premier League sides – including the Blues and Arsenal.

We’re not sure our interest is very advanced – it seems more like we’re at the “keeping tabs” stage than anything else.

The last few days have been chock full of talk of a move for Everton’s Anthony Gordon, for a fee that is looking like spiralling towards £50m. Frankly, we would much rather spend a smaller amount on Pino, who looks just as talented.
