Conor Gallagher will start for Chelsea against Leeds today, according to insider Nathan Gissing.
The Chelsea insider has written that the midfielder gets the nod alongside Jorginho in a two man central midfield, with Mateo Kovacic and N’Golo Kante both out injured.
This period will be huge for Conor. After two games of the season he was looking set for a campaign of cameos from the bench, but these two injuries mean that he will now likely get a run of starts after this one – if it goes well.

Leeds are a high pressing all action team and Conor’s work rate will be vital in midfield. Jorginho can control the tempo and stay behind the ball, while Conor bursts forward to exploit the spaces in Jesse Marsch’s team.
It’s a great setup but it won’t be an easy atmosphere at Elland Road. What a debut this could be for Conor.
