Fabrizio Romano has given the ‘here we go’ for another Chelsea transfer this summer.

The deal in question? Emerson Palmieri joining West Ham for a fee that Romano says will become £15m when the add-ons are reached, with an initial base fee of £13m. There is a full agreement reached on the fee and now also on the player’s side. Emerson will sign for West Ham on a contract until 2027. Emerson was always highly likely to be leaving Chelsea this summer after dropping way down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, and he will now follow Kurt Zouma in making the move across London to The Hammers.
