Inter Milan inquired about Trevoh Chalobah as part of the deal to take Cesare Casadei to Chelsea, Sempre Inter are today reporting.
They cite Italian transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio, who has written that the Italian side were very interested in the young defender.
His future at Chelsea is a little uncertain because of concerns about his playing time, although that could change as soon as next with, with Kalidou Koulibaly now suspended after his red card against Leeds.
We think Chelsea would be crazy to let their academy product go, but if he wants to go back to playing every week there’s only so much we can do to stop him going.
In the end he wasn’t included in the deal to bring Casadei to Chelsea, but the interest from Serie A is clearly there, and if we eventually relent and decide to sell or loan him, there will be no shortage of interest.
