Callum Hudson-Odoi is now very close to joining Bayern Leverkusen on loan in the Bundesliga this season.
The Chelsea winger has chosen Leverkusen over other options and will join on a season-long loan deal that we don’t expect to have an option to buy in. Although those details are still being finalised.
Reports came out this morning that Hudson-Odoi has rejected two Premier League clubs in order to move to Bundesliga.
Si & Dan Talk Chelsea can reveal that those two clubs were Aston Villa and Southampton.
Hudson-Odoi is keen to make the right decision here and go somewhere he can play regularly in his preferred left attack position. We will all be hoping that this move is successful and he comes back to Chelsea next summer as the complete player having been performing at a top level in Germany all season!
I think this will be a good move for him.
