Yesterday, reports began to surface that Chelsea were now getting very close to agreeing a deal to sign one of Thomas Tuchel’s priority targets this summer.
Many expected yesterday to be the decisive day for a breakthrough to be reached, but still, the saga continues.

Chelsea and Barcelona have still not reached an agreement for Pierre Emerick Aubameyang to join the London club this summer, being Tuchel’s priority in attack.
Fabrizio Romano reports that the agreement is not there yet, but the talks and ‘strategy game’ continues on. It seemingly appears that Chelsea are still trying to put Marcos Alonso in as part of the deal, but Barcelona consider that part of a separate deal.

If Chelsea ARE playing a strategy game at this stage of the window, then it is a hugely risky game to be playing. It’s clear that Tuchel wants Aubameyang, and it is clear that Chelsea need further signings. They need to start getting some deals over the line now rather than playing games.
So our head coach Thomas Tuchel n the recruitment staff are still dragging their feet n waisting time on Fofana why ? Is Fofana a Van Dijk ? Pls it’s decision making time n no more time to waist. Always speculating of rumours here n there. Pls just ignore Fofana n look for more experience alternatives defenders at least two more to sign as a backups incase of fatigue, injury or Red Cards. Nobody want to here any excuse from u so u have just about a week left to go so i therefore edge u to do the needful n sign quality players. Here are the names of some alternatives defenders; Brighton Adam Webster n Bayer Leverkusen Edmond Tapsoba. I strongly believe Tuchel need to sign two more defenders becos Rudiger, Christensen, Alonso, Malang Saar, Chalobah n Ampadu five permanent defenders are all leaving, how many defenders did we signed so far ? Koulibaly n Cucurella we’ve deficit number of about three left so Tuchel need to sign two more defenders n ignore Fofana. The strikers too we need two more signning becos in my view Aubameyang n Broja alone are not enough, the competitions are many so incase of fatigues or injury we need quality backups like Ivan Toney. The attackers/ wingers we’re loosing many of our players so we need replacement, Lukaku, Timo Werner have already gone n Ziyech, Pulisic, Odoi n Ross Barkley are also on their way out so where are their replacement ? So far only Sterling is inn n we’re sure Aubameyang is joinning soon but where are the remaining. Some of us are suggesting that Wilfred Zaha is good n may be willing to play in the champions league but Tuchel is quiet about it, there are other names coming up like Anthony Gordon, Pedro Neto, Nicolo Zaniolo n Pepe from Porto. In the midfield the name of Ruben Neves came up as a backup for either Kante or Kovacic incase of injury or fatigue he was the one Man United were look for as an alternative for Frankie De Jong before moving on to signed Casemiro so once again Thomas Tuchel n the recruitment staff should wakeup n step up their game becos we’re really lacking behind.
