The news that Chelsea are interested in Anthony Gordon of Everton has fans of all clubs – especially the Blues – scratching their heads.
Tifo Football have tried to make sense of it, with an informative video looking at Gordon’s stats from his two seasons as a senior player at Everton.

They’ve certainly identified ways in which Chelsea could use him, and they paint a pretty picture of how he could fit in.
They note his strong dribbling and pace, and his above average work rate and defensive contribution, which are clearly the aspects tempting Chelsea’s transfer team as they look to strengthen Thomas Tuchel’s squad.
But the question isn’t just whether he would be good, it’s about how much better he can be than the options which we already have – who we already own, and won’t cost £60m plus wages.
