Trevoh Chalobah is set to start for Chelsea today, according to Football.London’s Adam Newson.
The defender will get his first start as a Blue this season in a back 3, with Kalidou Koulibaly suspended after picking up a second yellow card against Leeds last week.
It’s a big moment for Trevoh, whose Chelsea future still hangs in the balance. He made his big breakthrough a little over a year ago in the UEFA Super Cup, and he will be hoping he can follow that up with another important August performance today, a year on.

It goes against everything we’ve heard in recent days about multiple Serie A teams being interested in the centre back. He will be one place down in the pecking order once Wesley Fofana is part of the squad, it but it still feels like there will be plenty of opportunities for him this season.
This will be a hard game, and a real test for Trev.
