Chelsea are set to formalise the signing of another new player on Monday, according to the latest reports.
The Blues have had a very good transfer window so far and it only looks to be getting even better in the final week.
Wesley Fofana is expected to arrive from Leicester City to become a Blues player after taking his medical today (Sunday). This is according to the latest report from French publication L’Equipe.
They say that Chelsea will pay an estimated £70M for Fofana in full within a year. Paying so much so soon is seen as rare for such a big transaction. Chelsea hope to formalise the move by Monday, maybe sooner.
Fofana would have been watching his pending new team beat his current team 2-1 with ten men yesterday at Stamford Bridge. Of course, the player was not involved due to the current situation and has been pushing for this move.
