A lot of clubs are now working frantically to try and get transfer deals over the line before the window closes on Thursday evening.
There is a lot of work to do on some of these deals and agreements need to be reached, otherwise some players could see their moves collapse and see themselves stuck at their clubs.

This could be the case for Hakim Ziyech, who is trying to return to his former club Ajax. However, the issue is that Chelsea only want a permanent deal as things stand, and Ajax do not want to pay the fee being asked for him and would prefer a loan deal.
This is according to the Dutch Telegraph, as cited below. They claim that Chelsea are now asking €25M up to €30M for Ziyech. Ajax are speaking directly with the player everyday but they still only want to take him on loan.
