Young Chelsea attacker Harvey Vale has signed a new contract and joined Hull City on loan for the season.
Vale has trained with the first team regularly in the last year, and made his debut during the winter’s Covid crisis.
He started the summer winning the U19 Euros, and then spent plenty of time with Thomas Tuchel and the team on the preseason tour. Clearly the club see a bright future for him, as perhaps the brightest talent from the latest crop of academy players.
Harvey Vale has signed a new contract with us and will spend the season on loan at Hull.
Good luck, Harvey! 👊

This should be a strong loan for him – Hull have had success with Cobham graduates before, and they’ve also taken Xavier Simons from the academy on loan for this season.
The pair should be able to make progress together – just as Fikayo Tomori and Ola Aina did with the Tigers a few years ago.
We will be watching their games with interest – good luck Harvey!
