Denis Zakaria’s first words as a Chelsea player

Chelsea had a bit of a crazy deadline day yesterday in terms of many rumours and deals being done.

Not only did they manage to conclude many outgoing deals yesterday and were busy with all of that, they also managed to get two new signings in through the door, although we had to wait some time for the official announcements.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang signed on a permanent deal from Barcelona after many weeks of negotiations. And then midfielder Denis Zakaria arrived on loan from Juventus for the season with an option to buy next summer.

Two good additions to the squad and marks the end of a decent transfer window for Chelsea, whilst maybe not perfect.

Zakaria is very pleased to be here, and whilst we have not had any official media yet from him in terms of photos and videos, we did get some first words from him via the Chelsea website.

Zakaria said: “I want to say hi to all the Chelsea fans. I’m very happy and proud to be a Blue and I cannot wait to see you soon at Stamford Bridge.”
