“I felt at home” – Thomas Tuchel pens most heartfelt statement after being sacked

Thomas Tuchel’s Twitter account is not even verified by Twitter, and he has not even tweeted from it since 2018.

Yet yesterday, he dropped back on it to deliver the most heartfelt statement on his time with Chelsea in a personal message to Blues fans. There was not a dry eye in the house last night.

It’s been a situation that has caused a lot of emotions, frustrations, and anger amongst the Chelsea fanbase, and many are calling for the owners now to speak out and provide some reasoning as to why they sacked a man who became hugely popular amongst Blues fans.

Tuchel says he felt at home at Chelsea and that these words are some of the hardest he has ever had to written. The Tweets, that spanned across a three-tweet thread as seen below, took over Chelsea Twitter again last night and the outrage of his sacking re-surfaced once again.

It was a very hard read. Thank you, Thomas, goodbye and good luck.
