The Graham Potter media releases have dropped today from Chelsea.
Presumably out of a mark of respect last week due to the passing of Queen Elizabth II last week, Chelsea with-held putting out any interviews or images of Potter’s first couple of days as Chelsea boss.

He partook his first training session last week, but it has all been silent until today. But we have now had plenty of images and even some interviews via the Chelsea website, YouTube, and the app.
One of the interviews on the Chelsea site is fantastic. Potter details how he is looking to set up his Chelsea team and the ethos he is going to try and build.
He talks about being tactically flexible and attacking, but the most important thing here for me is the mention of players being braver on the ball and not afraid to make mistakes, something we had seen a real lack of from Chelsea recently.
Potter: “I want a tactically flexible, attacking, possession-based team. Players that are brave, that aren’t afraid to make mistakes. That can get on the ball and show courage and really try to enjoy their football.
“If the players are enjoying their football, there’s a chance that the supporters will enjoy it as well. That’s how you grow and develop as a club.
“Styles of play don’t make you win games. The challenge is having players believe in it and how it works.
“In my position you cannot use time as an excuse. You can talk philosophy, identity, all these nice words, but you have to think in the short term as well. We are in a results game and you have to try and do your best to win.”
