Graham Potter has arrived at Chelsea alongside his own team of experts and coaches to help him take up the massive task of managing the club.
As any previous manager will tell you, it’s one of the toughest jobs in football and the pressure to succeed is there from the start and will never go away. It can take its toll on anyone. But Potter has bought along his trusted team from Brighton and previous clubs, one of which is Recruitment Analyst Kyle Macaulay, who is well known in the industry for being one of the best at what he does.

Potter has previously explained the role that Macaulay does and what he will be doing at Chelsea, in a previous extensive interview cited by Si & Dan Talk Chelsea.
Macaulay is relied upon for knowing the kind of talent and players that Potter wants and needs, and he acts as a middleman between the coach and the board.
Speaking when he was still at Brighton, Potter said: “One of my staff Kyle (who is now also at Chelsea) is in the recruitment department, and he acts as someone who knows me very well and he has a lot of those conversations. For me to have those conversations is time consuming. He knows what we are trying to achieve. He helps everyone else in that department as a bridge and a link between me and the recruitment team. The recruitment has to like them, the data has to like them, and us coaching staff has to like them. The more info we have the more knowledge we have. Then it needs to align with what they want to achieve and what the club wants to achieve.”

Hope u keep a decent History
