We have always been true believers in RLC here at Chelsea News, so nothing makes us happier than seeing him do well.
The midfielder is in a “really good moment” as they say on the continent, and his performances in recent games have been superb. He was great against AC Milan in our game against them a week ago, and according to Matt Law’s piece in the Daily Telegraph today, his performance was picked out for particular praise by Milan officials, who went for dinner with Todd Boehly and other members of the ownership group last week after the game.
They may want him, but we don’t want him leaving. His increasingly important role under Thomas Tuchel last season has only been enhanced by Graham Potter’s arrival, and with N’Golo Kante constantly injured, RLC has seized his chance.
A new contract will surely follow if he keeps playing like this.
