Former Chelsea defender says he has a “point to prove” against old team

Fikayo Tomori has been speaking to the media today ahead of facing Chelsea as a Milan player.

He admitted that he has something of a “point to prove” against the club that let him go 2 years ago, especially after making a mistake last week against us.

The defender had a rare lapse, but scored in the league at the weekend to make up for it, and we can’t expect him to make many more errors like that. Tonight we will be hard pressed to get past the defender, who has a brilliant mix of physicality and technicality.

There’s no hard feeling either way of course – Chelsea fans would love to have him back and he would probably have liked to stay. But he’s thriving in Italy and we’re happy to see him doing well.
