We are reportedly finalising a move to re-sign Benfica midfielder Nemanja Matic with Sky Sports claiming he could be back at the Bridge by Tuesday.

The 25 year old was dropped by Benfica for the club’s key clash with FC Porto today, further increasing speculation that he will leave this month.
It has been said we are ready to offer £17m for the box to box midfielder who could offer Mourinho a fresh dimension to Chelsea’s midfield perhaps being seen as a more rounded option to the likes of John Obi Mikel and Michael Essien.
Matic left Chelsea for Benfica in 2011 as part of the deal that saw David Luiz move to the Premier League.
