Chelsea face Man City at The Etihad in just under an hour, and the teams are in!
We didn’t get any rotation in the Champions League dead rubber a week ago, but tonight in a meaningful (albeit Carabao Cup) game against Man City, Graham Potter finally changes things.
At the back, Kalidou Koulibaly plays alongside Trevoh Chalobah and Marc Cucurella. Lewis Hall comes in from the youth team to presumably play left wing back, with either Christian Pulisic or Ruben Loftus-Cheek at right wing back.
Mateo Kovacic and Deniz Zakaria make up the midfield pair, while Pulisic/RLC, Armando Broja and the lesser spotted Hakim Ziyech forming the 3 up top.
Excitingly, Omari Hutchinson is on the bench, with a good chance of getting his first senior minutes later tonight.
What a pity that Carney Chukwuemeka is out.
