Chelsea’s pursuit of Enzo Fernandez earlier on in the window had Chelsea fans around the world beyond excited. The 2022 World Cup young player of the tournament winner looked like he was set to be joining Chelsea after the two clubs entered official talks whilst Enzo took it as far as to ask to leave and even boarded a flight back to Argentina when he wasn’t supposed to which ended up in him receiving punishment from Benfica.
