This player’s stats prove why Chelsea can’t miss out

Chelsea’s pursuit of Enzo Fernandez earlier on in the window had Chelsea fans around the world beyond excited. The 2022 World Cup young player of the tournament winner looked like he was set to be joining Chelsea after the two clubs entered official talks whilst Enzo took it as far as to ask to leave and even boarded a flight back to Argentina when he wasn’t supposed to which ended up in him receiving punishment from Benfica.

The two clubs could not agree a deal with Benfica president Rui Costa demanding Enzo’s 120m euro release clause for any deal to happen. Since then, Enzo has been performing just as well as he did at the World Cup, producing stats last night which led to Chelsea fans including myself to swarm the replies of the tweet below and tag Todd Boehly’s account in hopes of a miracle transfer late on into this window.

Stats such as 10/13 long balls completed for Enzo in last nights match just go to show how good of a passing range he has and that is something that Chelsea lack in midfield, personally, Enzo’s long passes picking out Mudryk would soon be labelled by Chelsea and rival fans as a “cheat code”
