(Video): “If he comes here…” – Chelsea player speaks about transfer saga

This time a year ago Chelsea were chasing a Brighton star player – left back Marc Cucurella.

They landed him in the end – at a handsome price – and now he’s a Blue, sitting in our preseason talking about the latest Seagull we want to sign – Moises Caicedo.

Cucurella was pretty open about his old teammate speaking in the press conference last night:

“If he comes here, I think we have a top midfielder for a long time.”

You don’t often hear players speak so openly about an ongoing transfer saga – let alone one involving their old club. Is it possible that he’s heard we’re close to getting something done?

You can see the left back speaking in the clip embedded here:

  1. I would suggest Cucarella should leave…he is not a Chelsea style of player, doesn’t tackle, out of position defending, back to players going forward…I really do not see how the club wasted so much money on a well below PL standard.

    1. It’s true you Chelsea wasted too much money ok on unhelpful player and he is now damaging the club hardly than ever

    2. I agree with you rob, he has nothing to offer Chelsea, please we should sell him before he does us harm
