The signing of Angelo Gabriel from Santos rather caught everyone by surprise this summer, and the main debate among Chelsea circles was where it would be wise to send him on loan.
His performance after coming into the game as a sub for the team last night was phenomenal, and if there was ever a 45 minutes to try and convince your manager to keep you around this season, this was it. He picked up a great assist for Ben Chilwell and was a terror all night cutting in off the wing.
