Dan Bardell was on Sky Sports this morning, where he described Chelsea as “not a top 6 Premier League team” in terms of quality.
The case for the Blues is then put forward by Sam Obaseki, but we’re not 100% convinced. Bardell probably has a point.
We’ve lost a lot of players, and we’ve got no depth up front, in central midfield and in goal. It shouldn’t be controversial to say we will struggle to make the top 6, given how hot the competition for those places looks to be.
