Just as Chelsea sell Christian Pulisic, and with him lose the inevitable weekly report on ESPN about his progress, it looks like the Blues are going to be right back on the US sports giant’s radar with the signing of Tyler Adams.
The central midfielder looks increasingly likely to join from Leeds, and as you’d expect, the pundits on ESPN were excited about the idea and happy to talk up his ability.
Stevie Nichol was more on the fence – admitting that Adams is “captain for a reason” because of his work rate and personality, but adding that, as a footballer, he wasn’t going to propel Chelsea to the top 4.

Have no idea who the Scots was that said Tyler doesn’t push them into a top four. He’s right. He would drag them screaming and shouting. I know football is about differing views. But come on…has he ever seen Adams play?
