On Sky Sports today they were debating signings from the last year and whether they were a hit or a miss. When it came to Mykhailo Mudryk, signed in January for £88m, we were astonished to see some pundits claiming that move was a hit.
Look, there’s still a chance he ends up being a very useful player for us. But that’s a different question entirely. Is he going to be an £88m player? That looks extremely unlikely. He’ll have to actually break into the first eleven, for starters.
Still – we would love to be proven wrong, and by the end of this season we will know for sure whether he was a hit or a miss,

Leave the guy alone he is much better than the dicks who kep calking him out!!!! You only have to watch his interaction with Jackson during preseason to see his potential to the team….
SuperFrank, your saying it looks “extremely unlikely†that Mudryk will prove he’s worth his transfer fee is just as ridiculous as the folks who are claiming he’s a “hitâ€â€”neither of you has seen enough of his play to draw a fair conclusion! The jury is still very much out. You had a fair point to make (that claiming Mudryk has been a “hit†is preposterous), but then you go (as is so often the case) and make an equally silly statement yourself.
