Mauricio Pochettino was asked why Mykhailo Mudryk was finding it difficult, and his response was interesting.
He denied it was anything to do with confidence, instead saying he needs to be “more in the spirit to score.”
It’s an interesting way of putting it, related a little bit to what Ashley Cole said on punditry duties, where the former left back commented on Mudryk’s lack of desire to really get in the box and attack the ball in dangerous areas.
You can sense a bit of frustration on Pochettino’s part already, which isn’t great for the winger given how little time they’ve had together.
