Chelsea were of course expected to beat Luton today, but that doesn’t mean the win wasn’t very important.
Just look how many times manager Mauricio Pochettino says that in his post match-press conference. He clearly sees how a lack of confidence in the players, and a lack of faith from the fans, is hurting the team, and wins like this are the only way to claw it back.
“We need to feel that,” he said of the sensation of winning, and winning comfortably at that.
