Chelsea have just confirmed the sale of Callum Hudson-Odoi to Fulham for just £5m.
The winger, once considered one of English football’s brightest prospects and the subject of vast offers from Bayern Munich, has seen his career come off the rails since a bad injury in 2019, and a disappointing loan to Bayer Leverkusen last season didn’t help his prospects.
His talent remains enormous, and a major factor in this low fee is the fact that Hudson-Odoi has just one year left on his contract.

Chelsea have accepted significantly less than the £8m they were asking Fulham for, but in return they have included a sell on percentage according to most sources.
We’ve loved watching Callum over the years and we’re desperate to see him thrive and get his career back on track. Forest seems like a great place to do that, and we hope to see him back to his best soon.
