Chelsea were beaten Nottingham Forest at home today, and in the press conference after the game Mauricio Pochettino was asked what had gone wrong.
He boiled it down to two things:
“We weren’t clinical enough” and “we made one mistake and we conceded a goal.”
It’s totally correct, but it’s also what we heard from Frank Lampard, Graham Potter and Thomas Tuchel last season, almost word for word.
How much longer can this go on? It’s just mind bending.
