Like a couple of the managers before him, Mauricio Pochettino was given an easy out by an interviewer today asking him about the loss to Nottingham Forest.
They asked whether the bad results, and the panic evident in the team, was due to the youth of the side he put out.
He denied it was anything to do with that, instead pointing to the fact that a lot of the players were new, as is he, and that a “process” needed to happen to gel them all together. “I don’t believe [youth is the reason]” he responded.
“We need to work more together, to know each other… to be more competitive.”
It was nice to see him turn down the easy excuse – the question is, however, how quickly he can fix these problems.

” CLINICAL” seems to be the GOLDEN word used by the Last 3 Managers. Only God knows if we are ever going to see Any GOALS scored this SEASON..
