Inter boss, Walter Mazzarri has expressed concerns over reports linking Colombian midfielder, Fredy Guarin, as a Chelsea FC transfer.
The 27 year old is one of eight players who are out of contract at the end of the season, and whilst the Inter coach is fearful of losing his star talent, he concedes that selling players on would help balance the club’s finances.
“Clearly I’d like him to stay, but if his sale is being considered then that explains the club’s situation. This year there are eight players coming towards the end of their contracts.”
Industry type player
Talksport’s South American correspondent, Tim Vickery, has labelled the Colombian export as player of industry rather than creativity. It is conceivable then, that Mourinho, who likes his personnel to put a shift in, would be genuinely considering a bid for the Inter man.
Chelsea are monitoring a number of players, and we are likely to see developments, one way or another, in the coming weeks.
