A look at tomorrow’s opponents Everton

Bouncing back after a disappointing run of games against West Brom and Manchester City, Chelsea fans will be hoping for a win against familiar opponents, Everton.

Back in the early course of the season Everton delivered Chelsea’s first loss by a 1-0 scoreline, but through the season Chelsea now themselves on top of the Table going into the return leg.

Everton who are going through a sticky spell acquiring only 8 points in the past 6 games from a possible 18, not very impressive. Chelsea on the other hand have taken 14 points from the past 6 games only Liverpool have taken more.

Key Men: Everton – Kevin Mirallas, Ross Barkley and Lacina Traore.

With the absence of Romelu Lukaku who wouldn’t be eligible to play, Roberto Martinez will likely start the youngster Traore up front. The French man dazzled as he scored on his debut for the club in the FA Cup with a Cheeky backheel finish but with the CB duo of either Gary Cahill or John Terry it will harder for the inexperienced striker to pose much of a threat.

The trouble this time comes from the middle; Steven Pienaar, Kevin Mirallas, Ross Barkley and Osman are all to be watched.

Key Men: Chelsea – Eden Hazard, Nemanja Matic and Willian.

Knowing as Chelsea don’t have the ideal strike force they should, the Outstanding midfielders are once again relied upon to create the chances, Assist and even Score. S

tarting with Nemanja Mati? who has been Nicknamed by the Fans as ‘Spider Mati?’ will be an integral part in the game, the man who gave Yaya Toure a run for his money will be right to handle their cental midfield.

Superstar duo Eden Hazard and Willian who have been exceptional throughout the year will be hoping to continue after a recent stumble.

Another key figure for a Chelsea victory will the be the pairing in the Midfield ( both DM and CAM ) Willian playing in behind the striker allowing Andre Schurrle to come into the line up while benching Oscar has shown somewhat of a ‘deserved’ fatigue.

At the DM, fans will be looking for an Energetic attacking display which as we know will not fit John Mikel Obi. Best Choice: Frank Lampard.

Predicted Chelsea Line up

Cech Ivanovic Cahill Luiz/Terry* Azpilicueta Matic Lampard Willian Oscar Hazard Eto’o

Dark Horses: Chelsea Azpilicueta and Oscar. Everton Coleman and Tim Howard.

Prediction: 3-1
