The Barclays Premier League fixtures for the 2014/15 season were released this morning, and the Blues kick off their campaign away to newly promoted Burney on August 16th.
This is followed by a home tie against another promoted side, Leicester City; August concludes with a trip to Goodison Park on the 30th.
The toughest of the early games comes away to Manchester City on the 20th of September, and the reverse fixture takes place on the 31st of January.
Other significant fixtures this side of Christmas include Arsenal at home at the beginning of October, followed by a trip to Old Trafford at the end of the month. London derbies versus QPR and Tottenham feature at the start of November and December respectively.
The busy Christmas periods sees us at home to West Ham on boxing day, followed by a trip to Southampton two days later; White Hart Lane is the setting on New Year’s Day.
To the other side of Christmas and the Blues face Manchester City and Everton within the space of two weeks at the Bridge.
A tough last six games sees Chelsea come up against Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool, before facing Sunderland at home on the last day of the season.
