Oriol Romeu has today signed a one-year loan deal with Stuttgart.
The 22 year-old has recently signed a new 3-year deal at the club, and has featured heavily in pre season, impressing with a performance against Wycombe in particular.
Romeu spent last year on loan in the Spanish top flight at Valencia, and this year will remain in one of Europe’s top divisions.
The midfielder has so far made 33 Chelsea appearances, and this season will hopefully enable the Spaniard to make that step-up he needs in order to become a Chelsea regular.
