Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech expressed through a tweet on transfer deadline that he is staying at the London based club. In the tweet, it showed Cech is glad to stay put at Chelsea to compete for the number one spot with Thibaut Courtois.
During the transfer window there were rumours that the 32-year-old was on his way out of Stamford Bridge to another club. This is because he has lost his position to Courtois, as the youngster is currently Jose Mourinho’s first choice goalkeeper.
Several clubs including AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco and Queens Park Rangers were reported to be in need of his services. The most likely amongst them was Queens Park Rangers transfer deadline day loan deal report.
After all this, Cech decided to stay at Chelsea and compete with Courtois for the number one spot. He made this revelation public by posting his decision on twitter.
