Mourinho: I don’t believe in bad moments

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has disclosed that he believes in defeat but not bad moments.

This means that, for him only good moments exist but not the opposite. He was also very cautious about the future and accepted that defeat is part of football.

Chelsea FC are enjoying one of its best football seasons, they are unbeaten after 20 matches so far this season.

Mourinho also added that his players know their objective and how to achieve it. He is reported to have claimed last season that his team wasnÂ’t good enough to win laurels both in Europe and the domestic league. This was because his side was going through an evolution. But it looks like they are ready to conquer the World of football again this season.

“I believe in defeat. I believe there are many difficult matches ahead, with so many points to lose. But I don’t believe in bad moments. The team is a good team, a solid team. The players know what they want and how to reach it.” The 51-year-old is quoted as saying.

The former Real Madrid boss claimed that his players are different from what they used to be last season. Therefore complacency should be avoided at this stage of the season.

“They have changed. There was an evolution. I don’t think the group, as a group, can be complacent. That’s the only risk we don’t have because it’s not the profile of this group.”
