Chelsea to host Millwall or Bradford in fourth round

Chelsea will face either Millwall and Bradford in the next round of the FA Cup, depending on the replay between the two sides after an entertaining 3-3 draw at The Den on Saturday.

After a gradual but comfortable 3-0 win over Watford in Sunday’s FA Cup third round tie, the blues are drawn at home again, and will hope for the revival of a certain London rivalry.

Ricardo Fuller’s 83rd minute equaliser earned Millwall a replay on Saturday after falling behind twice to the League One side, who will be hopeful of an upset in the replay at Valley Parade in the next few weeks.

A visit from Millwall would make for an interesting cup tie; there’s no love lost between the two teams, and Ian Holloway’s men might fancy their chances of a giant killing, with the Blues winning 0 of the 6 FA Cup ties between the two teams – although the most recent fixture dates back to 1995.

Chelsea are yet to meet Bradford in an FA Cup fixture, however have beaten the League One side in half of the 34 games played between the two, including a 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge when the two last met, back in December 2000 in a Premier League fixture.

The rest of the FA Cup draw is as follows:

Southampton or Ipswich v Crystal Palace

Cambridge United v Manchester United

Blackburn v Swansea

Chelsea v Millwall or Bradford

Derby v Scunthorpe or Chesterfield

Preston v Sheffield United

Birmingham City v West Brom

Aston Villa v Bournemouth

Cardiff v Reading

AFC Wimbledon or Liverpool v Bolton

Burnley or Tottenham v Leicester

Brighton v Arsenal

Rochdale v Stoke

Sunderland v Fulham or Wolves

Doncaster or Bristol City v Everton or West Ham

Manchester City v Middlesbrough

Ties will be played on the 24th/25th of January.
