Thorgan Hazard has today made his move to Borussia Monchengladbach permanent.
The 21-year-old has been on loan at the Bundesliga club since the start of the season, after an impressive two-year spell with Zulte Waregem in Belgium.
The reported fee for the youngster is in the region of $8m, which is a 1500% increase on the $500,000 that Chelsea paid for the brother of their most rising star. The Blues also have a clause in the contract which allows them to exercise a buy back clause should they wish to bring him back to the club in future years.
Hazard joined Chelsea in July 2012 and has thoroughly impressed in his two-and-a-half seasons spent away from the club, netting 26 goals in 106 appearances (@ChelseaYouth).
The Belgian has helped Gladbach into a top three position so far this season, and signs for the Bundesliga side until 2020.
