Eden Hazard has today signed a new 5 and a half year deal with Chelsea!
All Chelsea fans will be delighted with the news as he been such an influential player since we signed him from Lille in 2012. This season Hazard has upped his game and has been a key player in taking Chelsea to the top of the league, through to the final of the Capital One Cup and into the knockout stages of the Champions League.

I am very happy to sign a new contract with Chelsea. Since I came here in 2012 I have always felt good and the club has been very supportive to me.
‘The manager has helped me improve a lot, the fans have been fantastic and I have an amazing understanding with my team-mates.
‘I always try to give pleasure to the supporters with my style of play and it is nice to know they appreciate my work.
I hope we can repay that support by winning lots of trophies, beginning with the Capital One Cup at Wembley, and after that, we can push hard towards the end of the season.

Hazard was voted by the fans, Chelsea’s player of the season for the 2013/14 campaign.
Since arriving at Chelsea he has made 147 appearances scoring 43 goals.
This season he has scored 13 times in 36 appearances. He has also made 112 successful take-ons this season; more than any other player in Europe’s top 5 leagues. Hazard has also created the most chances and been fouled the most in the Premier League this season.
